Megan Beth Albums: Leather Craftsmen Flushmount

This new year is bringing some big changes with it, one of which I’m super excited about, my new album company.  I just upgraded my albums to the ever amazing classic Leather Craftsmen flushmounted albums.  They’re amazing at what they do, and take such good care of their clients, thanks Joe Jr! Many of my clients buy an album, as it is one of the most important tangible items left from their wedding day, and I want to make sure my couples are getting the best of the best.  Besides, I’ve never heard of someone running back in their burning house to grab a disc of images, just sayin’.  The album ties the whole day together, and tells the story of your wedding, with the most important photographs.  If you are a past or current client, and would like to order a flushmount album from your wedding contact me here.

My albums are clean, classic, average four images per page, and personally designed custom to each wedding.  They come in four different sizes, and this gorgeous new sample I ordered from Jamie and Corey’s wedding is a 10×12, custom stamped with their information, and one of my favorite images on the front.  Starting off with the layouts:

And the gorgeousness from Leather Craftsmen.

The lay-flat binding with the gutter in the middle provides archival quality, making the album last for many years to come.

Naomi + Andrew: St. Regis Hotel Wedding, Washington DC

Two people from different sides of the country brought together by chance, he quite literally walked into her life. Intrigued by the lovely woman sitting across from him during the meeting, he couldn’t help but notice that she needed to speak up, she didn’t say a word the entire hour, which of course is quite uncharacteristic of Naomi. But before he left to head home to California she actually did say something, in fact, probably the most important thing said that day, words that would change the course of their lives stretching the next two and a half years. Knowing he would be back in DC in a few short weeks, she told him that if he ever needed anything don’t hesitate to ask. And as they say, the rest was history.

Naomi and Andrew, thank you for inviting me into your lives. Your kind hearts, adorable families, and beautiful day made your wedding absolutely amazing. Your relationship has truly stood the test of time, and miles, and I admire your strength and fierce everlasting love you have for each other. Thank you for letting me photograph your beautiful wedding, thank you for letting me document your love.

Naomi and Andrew’s gorgeous wedding was held at the St. Regis in Washington, DC.

Simple cream satin Calvin Klien’s to start the day, and her beautiful Nicole Miller dress.

One of the most amazing bouquets I have ever seen, ever.  I didn’t know flowers could be so beautiful.

Hello, gorgeous!

Naomi and Andrew decided to see each other before the wedding to make sure we had enough time to roam around DC for photos before the sunset at six o’clock, which proved to be the smartest decision due to a little rally “get together” right around the corner.  I can’t recommend a first look enough, especially if photos are important to you, you definitely need to make sure you schedule enough time.

Since Naomi and Andrew scheduled well over an hour for pictures beforehand, we headed across town to Eastern Market, where they spent many a day roaming the market.

You two are simply divine, seriously, amazing.  And that vintage green truck?  Thank you for being perfectly placed.

Naomi, I love your laugh.

Might be my favorite images of Naomi.

I think it’s the great wardrobe that makes him so dapper.  Or the British accent.  Or the great smile.

The St. Regis was decorated just beautifully, and fit perfectly with their gorgeous fall wedding.

Such a special moment with Naomi’s mother.

Jamie + Corey: Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay, Cambridge Maryland

It was breezy and cool on that late September day, as the sun seemed to shine into every crack and crevice at the amazing Hyatt Regency in Cambridge, Maryland.  She was surrounded by her most treasured friends, wearing ‘Mrs’ shorts and wearing her fab wedding heels,  she sat in the makeup chair getting the final touches.  She peeked out over the balcony, admiring the gorgeous day over the Chesapeake Bay, and saw him standing there in the distance with his friends.  She giggled and watched for a few minutes as he was relaxing with his boys before they had to get ready.  She was calm but excited to see him later that day, standing, waiting for her at the end of the aisle.

And as she made her way down the aisle with her sister, she took his hand and stood next to him, right where they were each supposed to be.  Holding her hands in his to comfort her nerves, his face lit up and he gave her the biggest cheese ball grin in true Corey style.  Through this crazy life of twists and turns, they had finally found their way, next to each other, right where they were supposed to be.

Jamie and Corey, your wedding was perfection, your friends and family are amazing, your laughter is heartwarming, your love is joyous…and your dance moves, those are epic.  I feel so honored to be a part of it all, to be able to document your love and bear witness to true everlasting love.  Hope you guys got to sit back and relax, and had a wonderful time in Hawaii!  Love, Megan

Well hello there gorgeous Pour La Victoire heels, what a prefect addition to Jamie’s classic look.

Strickler wedding shoes

Her dress was so beautiful.  It was simple and classic, and fit her like a glove.

Jamie, you are stunning.

Jamie’s bridesmaids are so much fun, and I’m loving their dresses, each custom wrapped for a different look.

Such a touching moment when Christy, Jamie’s sister walked her down the aisle to Corey.

They are so cute together, I love this one!

And as the light quickly faded over the Chesapeake Bay, we caught the last minutes of the sun’s warm glow, perfectly illuminating some sweet moments with just Corey and Jamie.

Work it gurrl.

This gorgeousness is my absolute favorite image from the day.  It’s so beautiful, peaceful, clean, and classic, not to mention how amazing they look.

The party got started with an adorable first dance…

…and didn’t stop there.  Everyone was out on the dance floor.

Jamie’s sister Christy gave a touching and hilarious speech highlighting a few funny stories from Corey and Jamie’s relationship.

A groom that can, and does, the worm at his own wedding?  Plus ten cool points!

Kathy M. Buckley - Gosh, these pictures were “teasers.” I cannot wait to see the full album. It is easy to take great pictures when the photographer has 2 beautiful people to work with, huh? Really enjoyed what I have seen so far…….the bride fit perfectly into her “classically simple, but elegant” wedding dress! Wow! The groom doing the “worm” was expected, so no surprise there, but the love that it was captured on film! teehee Congratulations to you two. What a dynamic couple and “eye candy?” Well, that is an understatement!October 30, 2010 – 3:47 pm
