Chaz and Steve

I had been checking the weather everyday up until that Saturday…not good.  Then Friday night as I was going to bed, the skies opened up and poured buckets. In the back of my mind I knew everything would work out, and so did Chaz. And it did, when I arrived Saturday morning the sun was shining just as brightly as Chaz was.

Chaz and Steve are two amazing people with such a laid-back, relaxed outlook on life, and their wedding reflected that completely.  The most important things to them in life, are their family and their friends.

WARNING: There is tons of awesomeness ahead. Due to my inability to narrow it down a few fabulous pics this post is longer then normal. Grab your coffee, sit back and enjoy!

Amazingly sweet moment.

It’s obvious why Owen is so adorable…because his mom is so stunning. She looks like a modern day Grace Kelly.

I love the look on her face when she sees Steve for the first time.

Chaz had mentioned to me earlier that she wasn’t photogenic…yea, sure…not photogenic.

Did I mention Steve models for Polo…ok not really…but he should. So good looking!

Lookin all GQish.

These two are my absolute favorites from the day!

Steve couldn’t stop looking at her during the first dance.

Best man speech.

Check out their sweet ride!

Chaz and Steve, thank you so much for not only letting me be a part of your big day, but befriending me. Your family and friends made me feel so welcomed and at home. Best wishes in all you do! Love, Megan Beth

Eight years in the making.

Although the forecast had been calling for rain that day, someone was watching out for them. Amanda and Brian were married outside at the Kent Manor Inn on the Eastern Shore, then dessert and drinks at the bride’s mother’s house.

Amanda and Brian are proof that true love exists in this world. Their love is what others seek out to find, and a love that will truly stand the test of time. I can attest to their relationship because Amanda is my sister, and Brian her best friend.

From the moment I met Brian while visiting my sister at the University of Maryland, I knew he was something special. I hadn’t gotten the scoop from Amanda yet, but I knew she fancied him. That night Brian looked out for me as if he were my older brother. To this day Brian and Amanda look after me, help me, and make sure I’m ok. Brian is the amazing brother I never had, and Amanda the sister I’ve always wanted to be like.

Amanda and Brian’s relationship has stood the test of time. From meeting freshman year at UMD, law school, and Amanda teaching, the last eight years have only solidified their everlasting relationship. They’ve conquered the world …hiking every trail and mountain, biking every path, sailing all the seas on the Black Pearl, kayaking the Chesapeake, trips to Key West, Myrtle, OC, Paris, Cali, they’ve done it all.

I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them. I love you guys!

Some rockin’ shoes!

Bride’s gorgeous parents. :)

Waiting for everyone to arrive.

Mr. and Mrs.

Since she’s my sister, she understands my need for creative photography…
so when I told her to ‘go jump up on that bail of hay’, she knew it was ‘go-time’

Beatiful pictures! I’m going to be working parties over the summer at the Kent Island Yacht Club. I am good friends with the bar manager/wedding planner and I’m sure I could help get you some work there. Let me know what you think. I’ll drop your name and number to him if you’d like. So I’m a little late…

On April 4th Mom really outdid herself and threw an awesome bridal shower for Amanda. Full of great food, great company and amazing florals(which were done by none other than Alberta!) It was a laid back, uber classy, enjoyable day! Amanda got so many wonderful gifts from friends and family.

It all started with this little shiny rock.

Details. Details.

A huge thank you to mom for planning such a phenomenal party and to everyone who came to celebrate with Amanda.

Jump for Love

Many firsts today…this is my first wedding, and my first post on my fancy new blog. I took a bajillion pictures and had to narrow it down to my favorites, which wasn’t easy. Hope you guys like them!

Jacque and PJ are great people, with great style and know how to have a good time. They were married at the Severn Covenant Church and then rocked the night away on the dance floor. Hope you guys had a blast on the honeymoon!

You can tell a lot by someone’s shoes… so when i showed up and saw these babies I knew the wedding would be fabulous!

Of course it helps when you have a gorgeous bride :)

This is one HOT bridal party!

LOVE this one!

First dance :)

Just wanted thank you Jacque and PJ for letting me be a part of your day! Congrats guys!
