Bonnie and Justin are getting married next year in West Chester, PA, and although I’m not shooting their wedding, we had such a fun time during their engagement photo session.  It was a cold and rainy day in DC at Union Station, but Bonnie and Justin were such troopers.  These guys are so great together and I feel so honored to have been able to photograph their love.

In addition to being absolutely gorgeous, Lydia and Craig, are two of the kindest souls you will ever meet.  She has a way of reaching out and making anyone feel special and Craig can make you laugh in a second.  Their love just beams from them, and they share it with the world in such beautiful way.  It’s the kind of love that’s precious, gentle, and everlasting, and I am so blessed to be able to photograph it.

Lydia and Craig are planning a gorgeous wedding for next September at the Engineer’s Club in Baltimore, so we decided to go with a little change of scenery and shoot in the historical district of Annapolis, Maryland.  And after having such a fun afternoon with them, I’m so excited to photograph their wedding next year.  And a super HUGE thank you to you two for bringing those delicious Berger cookies right from Baltimore.  This is major trouble now, they are TO DIE FOR.

We started off their engagement photos down by the water at the end of an adorable little residential street in Annapolis.

Then we headed over to a little alley drive-way thing that was covered in ivy, such a pretty setting to shoot the second half of their engagement photos.

She wasn’t even looking for someone, but isn’t that how it always happens.  She and her friend went out that night in downtown Annapolis and ran into a group of mutual friends.  She briefly talked to him, and then decided to leave, by herself.  And just like any good friend would do,  Amanda’s friend, who had stayed behind decided to give out her phone number to the cute guy.  Later she received a text from him ‘Lunch?  S.G.’  She didn’t know who it was, let alone that her friend gave out her number to some guy.  She politely declined, but Scott wasn’t going to give up that easily.  He was persistent, and it’s a good thing because that night changed the course of their lives.

Amanda and Scott are absolutely adorable in every way.  It is clear that they are best friends and bring the fun with them anywhere they go.  And I’m so excited for their wedding next July at the Annapolis Yacht Club.  Thanks for spending the evening with me.  Even under the threat of rain!  Love you guys!

Amanda, from the moment I saw you dancing your heart out at Meghan’s wedding, I thought, how adorable is she?!  And!  You!  Are!

I arrived an hour early to their engagement session to scout out locations, and found this amazing dock.  As it turns out, it is now my most favorite dock in the area.  And this image?  Favorite!

And just as the beautiful sunset fell to the nights sky, the moon lit up the water over the Chesapeake Bay.
