I cannot wait to show you my images from the wedding this weekend! To hold you over until then, here is a teaser.

Kathleen and Mike are so stinkin adorable with each other. How he holds her hand, kisses her shoulder and how she beams from ear to ear with a smile, every time she looks at him. Even when I say no smiling!, that big beautiful smile of hers just can’t contain herself when she’s with her best friend. With his gentleness and the way she looks at him, I can tell that their love is absolutely to the core. Kathleen and Mike, I am so excited for August, and can’t wait to get a tour of your new house!
We headed back to the University of Maryland, where they both went to school (me too!), and to where they had a class together. I’m sure they got a ton of work done sitting together in the back ;) Go terps!

Testudo, our mascot, brings good luck if you rub his nose. There are a couple on campus, and many people will leave him gifts. That day we saw a cigarette, a book, pencil, and a Pepsi. Apparently all the things needed to get through school…well minus the cigarette. Yuck Testudo, don’t do it!

You go girl! I LOVE her gray dress!

Kathleen has the most AH-MAZ-ING eyes.

Mike isn’t so bad himself. He’s sooo cute. But I guess guys don’t like to be called ‘cute.’ Handsome, he’s handsome.

Kathleen trying to contain her NEED to smile :)

This is my favorite from the session. I mean really, look at her eyes. Fierce. And I got stuck with poop colored. Humpf.

Snuck a kiss while I was inside Ratsies.

[...] Kathleen and Mike, I am so honored that I was able to be a part of your amazing day. Your families (and friends!) were so warm and welcoming. Your relationship is truly a gift, and admired by all. Your abilities to go with the flow, and comfort and compromise with each other has only made you two stronger in the last several bajallion years. I wish you guys a lifetime of happiness and laughter! Love, Megan [...]September 8, 2009 – 7:31 pm

Yolanda and Victor were married in Chicago during a stretch of chilly and rainy days. It rained throughout the morning, and as we were on our way over to the ceremony, the sky cleared and sun came shining through. Certainly no coincidence. Yolanda was super nervous that day, but knew the moment she saw Victor all her nerves would melt away. As they stood up front and affirmed their love for each other Victor got choked up as he was saying his vows. And just as they always had been there for each other for all the years before, Yolanda gently put her hand on his arm to comfort him, letting him know she was there.
Thank you Yolanda and Victor for letting me be a part of your big day! It was so great getting to know you guys, little Victor, and your wonderful families! Hope you had an amazing time in Puerto Rico! Much Love, Megan
You know how I love a good sparkle on a shoe!

Loved the details on the dress.

Yolanda has the best smile, she was glowing all day!

And did I mention that they have the CUTEST son EVER. I wanted to take him home with me in my pocket, although I think they would have noticed. Several times during the day he would come up to me and say, ‘ok take my picture….NOW. Ok………NOW. Ok, now!’ And of course, I couldn’t resist!

Big Victor, little Victor.

LOVE this shot of the bling!

Such a ham.

It’s obvious where little Victor gets his good looks from.

Finally Mr. and Mrs.

I found these train tracks to shoot at and jumped at the chance. In MD the tracks would have been sectioned off with barbed wire, barricades, and an alarm system.

One of my favorites, ever.

Yolanda and Vic certainly knew how to work it for the camera.

I am absolutely in love with everything about this image. So stunning.

At dinner they had a real Mariachi Band. My feet were dying to get up and dance!

Last week I headed to Philly for the day to hang out with Regis and Victor Sizemore, while they were there shooting for ‘Shot of a Lifetime’. We had a fun day running around Philly, minus the fact that the contest was canceled due to torrential storms. Although it did mean more free time for us to hang out.

Here’s Victor setting up his time lapse camera on a lighting rod.

And Regis doing video. Work it!

At lunch time we headed over to Jim’s Steaks for some signature Philly cheese steaks. This isn’t something I would normally eat, but had to cause it’s the law to try one while in Philly. Here is the only shot of us from the day (photographers never remember take pictures of themselves) that I borrowed from Victor’s blog. Mine was sans Whiz.

And yes, Jim’s Steaks are low-fat ;)

One of the many ‘small’ storms that rolled through, canceling the event.

Make sure you go on over to Victor’s blog, where you can find the video that Regis shot on the Detroit stop…it’s pretty awesome.
