Swearing In.

For those of you who don’t know my sister’s husband Brian, you are definitely missing out. Brian’s enthusiasm for life, overachiever attitude, and all around caring, kind-hearted soul makes him one of the most AWESOME people I have ever met. After spending six years as an undergrad student at the University of Maryland (go TERPS!) and getting not one, but three undergrad degrees, it wasn’t enough. He decided he needed to go to school longer, and get his Juris Doctorate. He spent three long hard years away from my sister in the most frigid of places Lansing, Michigan. Back and forth they went making sure to see each other at least every other week, all along assuring her that soon he would finish his life long dream and make it back to Maryland for good.

I knew, but I think he was still unsure, until he saw it with his own eyes. I got the call, “Sparrow, I passed!” He endured, he did it, he passed the bar. Now all that was left was to make it official with the ‘Swearing In.’ All of us were so excited when the big day came, and even though the limit was two guests, all eleven of us came along…whoops. Congrats Bri, I knew you could do it!

This guy gave an amazing speech, not at all what I expected from a Justice.

“Brian Andrew Tucci”

Making it official, signing the book that all barred lawyers in Maryland have signed. He tried to sign it with his purple pen…but they wouldn’t let him.

The Court of Appeals building was so awesome!

Here he is, the newest laywer in Maryland, Brian A. Tucci Esquire

After the ceremony we all went to McGarvey’s for a celebratory lunch.

Only Bri would be excited about a Maryland Law book.

All of us, minus the fab photographer… me :)

And if that wasn’t enough, he will be taking the Virginia state bar in a few weeks, and has started his own construction company; Coordinate Construction. Check out his website here, if you’re looking for a good, reliable, licensed, insured contractor. Or if you need a lawyer, contact me and I will pass you along.

Feel free to leave your congratulatory comments for Brian in the comment section.

Noah Benjamin

Internet, do you know? Cause I don’t think you have any idea how hard it is to narrow 700 shots of the cutest baby on the east coast to one blog post. In fact I bet it’s easier to eat one of those green vegetable thingys, broccoli, I think they call it. Noah is absolutely adorable and I think he was quite fond of me, if I do say so myself.

Melissa and Seth beamed the entire time I was there, and they couldn’t possibly love him more than they already do. Noah is so blessed to have amazing parents who seem like old pros at this parenthood thing. They are so much fun, cute, cuddly and laid back. Without further ado, I want to introduce you to Noah Benjamin.

I think that’s a smile ;)

Like a little pea.

I was afraid that those tiny little booties would be too small…I was way off…they were too big!!

I LOVE this image, absolutely love it. Priceless moment.

Proud pappa.

I just love the way Seth looks at Melissa.

Look at those toes!

Noah LOVES smooches.

So peaceful and serene.

Melissa is an incredible mother.

Finally a family.

My Heart Smiles.

As I sit here on my computer editing my little fingers away, I got an email. I know, I know, I GOT AN EMAIL, how riveting! Although it wasn’t the fact that I got an email, it was the kind words in the email.

Starting your own business and exposing your work to the world, is like rolling an egg down the road, at least that’s what it feels like to me. You aren’t sure how far you’re going to get, and if a bump along the way might ruin it all. But I do know that a little help along the way will take you down the farthest of roads. As my journey continues I have received several emails to help me along the way. Some people I know very well, and others I have yet to meet. Words of encouragement, admiration, supporters, followers, fellow shoe connoisseurs, and the kindest words a girl has ever heard. They make me smile, they make my heart smile. Thank you, thank you, thank you, I can assure you they don’t go un-noticed. It is absolutely amazing to get to do something that I am so passionate about, and to share it with other people who appreciate it makes the journey that much more worthwhile.

Sneak Peek- Baby Noah

I’ve been so busy this last week, and am now just uploading all my images. But, I thought I’d give you a quick preview of the cutest new little boy in Kensington. More to come this week :)

Gobble. Gobble.

As Thanksgiving approached my bloggity blog started feeling a little ill, and decided it was going to give me a world of difficultly with posting photos. Which is fine and dandy if you didn’t take PICTURES FOR A LIVING. But when it will only let you post 2 images per every 8 hours…well you get the point. So…I realize this is several days, ok months late, but I had to post it in fear of my aunt dis-owning me as her favorite niece (and no I still haven’t told anyone that I’m your fav).   This Thanksgiving was extra special because for the last three years Brian has been away at school in Michigan, and now he is finally finished…woot woot!  We had an awesome weekend, and I am so thankful for having food on the table, a roof over my head, and such an amazing family.  Although, they of course get 2 ‘amazing points’ taken away when they make me play games …let that be a lesson!

This of course is a cute picture (that I obviously didn’t take) unless you know what was about to go down. Lets just say that if I had a dime for every time we’ve rowed, yes ROWED, out to the boat and climbed on, only to find the battery dead…I would be a millionaire living in the hills with Diddy. Stupid sailboat. Good news is that we got a tow, and everything worked out.

I’m thinking they should be in the J.Crew magazine.

She’s got some crazy blue eyes…if you hadn’t noticed.

I’ll probably get yelled at for this one…but I LOVE it…and well it’s my blog ;)

This is what we like to call an Armenian sandwich.

After all the Turkey Day festivities we went to see Australia. And I’m well aware that this is a horrendous picture of me…it might be that I hadn’t showered in two weeks, or the fact that I had a sinus infection for two straight months, but that’s besides the point. I’m just appalled at the size of the popcorn bucket…I mean really, this is all you’ve got?!?!

Jennifer and Ben

I knew I would love these guys when Ben’s mother contacted me and told me she couldn’t wait to meet me! She said she loved my work and felt as if she already knew me from my blog…I reminded her that I’m not as cool in real life ;)

Jen and Ben were married on December 6, 2008 at Historic Christ Church in Stevensville, Maryland. It was a chilly wintery day, and walking into Jen’s sisters’ house you could feel the warmth and familiness just ooze from everyone. Jen was calm and serene, even when she slipped on her gorgeous dress, and frosted herself with the most beautiful shoes I have ever seen. Just as I was finishing up with the guys outside the sky started to drop the seasons’ first little delicate snowflakes. I don’t think it was a coincidence…someone must have ordered the extra special added effect to make their big day that much more beautiful.

Jen and Ben, Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your big day. It was so great to finally meet you guys after being in contact with Eileen for so long! Your family and friends are so great and are obviously your biggest supporters. You are truly blessed to be surrounded by such amazing people. Thank you again…and work on that tan for me down south! Much Love, Megan Beth

Look how amazingly sparkly these babies are!

Murdoch florists always does a fabulous job!

This one is up there with one of my favorites ever taken!

Absolutely stunning!

These guys were sooo much fun!

She is a professional flower girl. When I asked her if this was her first time, she responded with, no I’ve been in six! It’s probably cause she’s so darn cute!

So hot!

I loved all the candles they had! It was so warm and cozy!

I love this one of their first dance as Mr. and Mrs.
