Going…going…

After staying up till four in the morning on the phone and an online Dell chat, my computer is officially gone…no not dead people..geesh. I took it today for an extended stay in Annapolis to be fixed. Well, lets hope. Fingers crossed please…well for that matter, cross your toes too.

Seeing as I can’t blog any of the pictures I’ve been taking, and I’m sure you don’t feel like hearing about my third Wendy’s trip this week, I thought I would try something new. This is where you get to pick what I talk about. Basically a Q&A session, virtual style. All you have to do, is hit the ‘comment’ button below this post and leave me a question. Questions can be anything from …what do I shoot with, what do I do in my free time, where did I go to school, how much can I bench press, what I like on my hamburger, what is my favorite dish to cook, what is the last book I read, did I ever figure out the rubix cube, who will I vote for, how to solve the world’s problems, to the meaning of life. I’m basically an open book folks.

And to all the daily anonymous readers…please don’t hesitate, I’ll answer anonymous questions too.

Edited to add: cricket. cricket.

Anonymous - I would LOVE to know… what is your favorite dish to cook?? MomJuly 11, 2008 – 1:26 pm

Bailey girl.

My best friends’ daughter never ceases to amaze me.
“Bailey, what are you saving your money for?”
“For college,” she answered. Of course… what was I thinking.

I can’t believe this little one is four years old already. She is ridiculously cute, smart, well mannered, kind, caring, polite, a ham, a fashionista, great dancer, knows all the words to the songs on the radio, enjoys the finer things in life(i.e. my Louis Vuitton “I purse Megan”), a great big sister, a beach bum, jewelry and hair pip lover, loves being in front of my camera and basically all together an amazing little person. Happy Birthday Bailey, I love you.

Watch out for the fire truck.

“NTLDR is missing.
Press CTL+ALT+DEL to restart.”

If I have to look at this screen on my broken PC one more time…I will first submerge my computer in my bathtub to make sure it doesn’t float, then throw it out my fourth story window, and then if it’s still alive, I will call the fire department(who lives on the end of my street) just to make sure they come and drive down by this end and make it extra pancakey.

Ugh. Can you tell I am a wee bit frustrated?! You would be too if you thought you might have just lost all of your work on your computer(all 70GB of pictures, and hours and hours of work).

Anonymous - ya I second that.. how can you not have an external hard drive..HELLO?? :) love you.. nik
ps. I’ll be home in 3 daysJuly 3, 2008 – 5:36 am

Anonymous - Easy wheezy, there is no need to get all worked up. “NTLDR” stands for: (Not To Live Distress, Relax), you haven’t lost “all 70GB of pictures, and hours of work”. I talked to one of my computer gurus and she said your work and computer can be saved. hopefully soon you will have all your work back. So instead of KAAPOOT, its more like: Tan-Taa-Taaaaaaaan!!

P.S. now will you buy an external memory and back up your work??July 2, 2008 – 11:47 pm
